Over the coming weeks we hope to learn more programming skills to help us develop our own game designs and actions.

Well done everyone!
Some of the children had great fun designing their own castle for the characters to move around. Over the coming weeks we hope to learn more programming skills to help us develop our own game designs and actions. Above and to the left you can see some of our first attempts. Well done everyone!

This week we have been getting messy! Apologies to parents for any paint splashes on clothing we are trying to be careful and all the children are wearing oversize t-shirts to protect our uniform. We have taken inspiration from modern artist Jackson Pollock and have produced some large paintings in pairs using a range of techniques to 'splash' paint onto our surface. We have displayed some smaller pieces created by the children in the entrance near Mr Knighton's office. Our plan is to produce two huge works of art as a class over the coming weeks. Look out for a letter home warning you to come in old clothes!
Despite the mist and rain we enjoyed our trip to Vindolanda Roman Fort and the Roman Army Museum @ Hadrian's Wall. |
