What a start to Spring Term 2!
So far year 3 have been on a visit to Vindolanda, begun new topics in;
Maths (money),
English (persuasive adverts),
PE (baseball - I wouldn't want to play that in this weather!)
and Music (learning to play the Ukulele!)
and now we've been snowed out of school!
We hope everyone is staying safe and warm through this very unusual weather, but Mrs Wilcock is inviting Year 3 pupils to try the below 'homework' challenges whilst we are off school.
*Go out side and play, play, play
*Learn the delights of walking through untouched snow and the need to avoid yellow snow
*Build a snow man (or snow woman, or snow dog, or a whole snow family!)
*Take photos of your snow creations, or yourselves all wrapped up, having fun in the snow to share with us next week
*Finally, drink hot chocolate and plenty of it as its the perfect way to keep warm on a cold snowy day.
