One terrible day in Treealaska, the wind whistled through the tree branches (as if it was saying words in a foreign language.) and Ginger-Headed Lee’s favourite gnarled and twisted bush shook franticly. Lee creped down the crooked stairs in curiosity as to why his bush was gaining human features. He scratched his hair in fascination as he cracked open the curtains. The shrub sauntered towards the battered, white door. The bush was as green as the Celtic football shirt. Lee fainted at the sight of this nonsense, he had lost track of time. He woke up to his uncle ben dressed as a bush.
Week #32
Posted on May 11, 2014 by 5sc1 Please make sure you check out the latest SHOWCASE and celebrate with the wonderful posts that have been selected! I have been on a working holiday to Ireland. I have met some wonderful people who made me feel very welcome and they gave me the idea for this week’s prompt! …some of the words sounded like a foreign language… This might give you the chance to practice using speech in your writing. Make sure your work makes sense. Reading it to yourself out loud can show you where you may need to tweak some punctuation. There it was dead on the kitchen counter. Barnaby the bee. He told his mum that he had died. She saw how heartbroken he was and took the bee to the Laboratory of Animals. The scientist gave two options. Option 1: Just let him R.I.P or Option 2: Shrink the scientists, get his DNA and turn him into a robotical bee. Timothy gasped with glee and requested them to start immediately. The scientist shrunk themselves and grabbed their luggage. It took them hours to get the sample of DNA. When they had finished, they needed to get big. But Timothy didn’t know how to use the shrinking machine. The scientist was tiny forever. One day I woke up and a bee died in front of me then a forensic team explode the door down! “Everyone freeze." Me and my friend Jake are grate explorers. We have found the worlds biggest snake. One day Jake said why don’t we go looking for the Worlds biggest bumble bee. So we set of for it. One day in Smalltown there was a carnival. Suddenly soldiers that were riding on the back of bees started to attack the carnival and there was a huge battle. Lots of soldiers and bees were shot down, the battle lasted 3 weeks. Eventually the soldiers decided to bring in the queen bee and she was taking out the carnival folk like the Hulk. Luckily for the carnival folk there was a soldier who survived and he spotted a Bazooka. He snuck it in his hands and aimed at the queen bee. The queen slowly drifted to the ground and the carnival folk were safe.
The next day there was a funeral, the soldiers were really sad that the queen bee had died. One fabulous day in California Jake and his brother Biscuits woke up to a beaming sun. Jake had a picture of a bee upside down lying on a deserted bit of lovely oak brown wood. Jake and his brother Biscuits started to play on Bee Theft Auto 5 as they played a bee came right through the computer and pop the computer sucked them right in. At first it was as black as the night sky. But then they were on the oak brown wood with the bee that is Jake’s favourite picture somehow they had transported through the computer.
Jim and Jake always wanted to be tiny. But they did only once and I’ll tell you about it. They were in love with bees so they shrunk, and ran to the nearest dead bee. They analysed it with their special cameras. Jim had hold of the bees leg and it turns out it wasn’t dead! It was alive and it went bonkers ‘buzz buzz,’ it went and flew away. Jake had plenty of pictures though and Jake said ‘I’ll never forget that.’ So they had a good time and they were back to normal height.
One buzzing day at the beautiful Bee Hospital, Doctor Buzz and Doctor Bee were needed to help Mr Yellow. They set off buzzing through the crowded streets of Beesvale when they arrived, “Mr Yellow’s stinger is broken,” announced Doctor Buzz as Doctor Bee threw open the medical kit. They were halfway through mending Mr Yellow’s stinger when a deadly, colossal human arrived. “Fly for your lives!” Mrs Stinger cried as everyone flew away. He swiftly grabbed Mr Yellow and flew away in terror, finally they reached the lovely Bee Hospital and Mr Yellow’s stinger was fixed carefully and safely there.
