Here are some of our performances using the rhythm grids.
In music this week we have been learning about rhythm. We used the word 'tea' to help us clap a slow note (crotchet) and the word 'coffee' to help us clap two fast notes (quavers). This is an example of one of our rhythm grids. One morning Lola woke to the sound of woman talking but it seemed to be in a different language. So she hurried down stairs only to find they had disappeared. She thought that she was hallucinating but she heard it again. Lola looked around the corner but nothing was there so she sat down to have her breakfast. When she was finished she went to the woods she was picking sum flowers in the middle of the wood. When she heard the voice she ran towards it until she got to the place where it came from. But this time something was there…
I live in France and I visited England for the weekend but as I was walking through Durham and all I saw were different faces all over the place. I thought England were supposed to speak English, some of the words sounded like a foreign language. I stopped and talked to a man called Bill he was Spanish but luckily I spoke Spanish. We had a good chat he told me that I should run go back to France I wasn't safe the rain was coming. I had to go anyway it was Sunday so I said goodbye and set off.
One morning I woke up, walked out of my room to wake my sister up. After trying to wake her up for 2 minutes she eventually woke up. Then she started to talk but it wasn’t her ordinary language she was speaking in a foreign language shouted for mam and dad to come up stairs, they ran upstairs and shouted “what has happened ,she is talking weird.”
We took her to the doctors they said there was nothing wrong, we took her to the nurse she said there was nothing wrong! I had an injury so I watched P.E. We practiced throwing and catching the ball. I enjoyed the warm up:-) By Kai Bridge This week we have been creating leaflets for science about Healthy Living and why exercise is important for us.
