Practising passing techniques using a rugby ball. It was not quite as easy as it looks!
Today, Lisa from the Lynx Theatre Company came into school to work with us, in order to learn and perform a play in a day! We have had an amazing day, which started off with drama games to test our acting abilities, through to learning parts. At 3pm the rest of the school, as well as our parents, came to watch our performance. Well done everyone, you were AWESOME! Thank you Lisa. And finally...our fantastic performance! Practise multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100 using this fun game. Polish up your skills!
http://www.wmnet.org.uk/resources/gordon/Bingo%20-%20time%20&%20divide%20by%2010%20&%20100.swf We analysed our text 'Theseus and the Minotaur' in depth and identified key moments in the plot. We explored each character's thoughts, feelings and intentions using drama techniques, to help us to increase the level of detail and description in our writing.
As part of our 'Talk for Writing', we have been learning the story by heart, creating story maps and practising performing it as a class.
