We had a fantastic day today. We began by rock pooling and following the village trail. We found so many creatures, including some shrimps, as well as hermit and shore crabs. We all had the most amazing time hunting for fossils near Boggle Hole! We found some fabulous specimens which wowed all the staff! We went on a 8 mile walk to Ravenscar. We thought it would be hard but it was really easy. By Matthew S. Our second day in Robins Hood's Bay and we went on a 6 mile walk, all the way to Hawsker. Every one was out of breath but we made it just in time for tea! The day started cloudy and wet! We walked to Boggle Hole via a few rock pools. After finding a few crabs, we created some dams before the heavens opened. We headed to the cliffs and walked up, what seemed like a thousand steps, before reaching the School House for lunch. We arrived safe and sound this afternoon and after popping our bags into our room, we headed straight to the beach. The tide was going out and we had a great time creating some seaweed art. After all the excitement of last week the prompt is a little more general. It is:
…but it was far too hot… As we are nearly at the end of the year and some of you have improved so much with your writing, you may like to have a go at some speech! Still concentrate on using your most creative vocabulary and making sure your stories make sense to your readers. We had an amazing time learning some Brazilian Futsal Skills. We were all disappointed that one team had to change to Portugal after England's performance the night before! Each group supported each other really well and thoroughly enjoyed taking part.
GOAL!! 1-0 to England, everyone cheered except from Harry who wanted Italy to score. GOAL!! to Italy 1-1.Harry cheered. He said that if he ever played in the world cup he would play for Italy. He did a dance, “Sit down Harry!”
But that’s what they do in Brazil when someone scores. With a Bam and a whizz Harry was Joe Hart. Bang the ball wacked straight off his face GOAL!! 2-1 to Italy and there he was right back home sitting on his couch with his parents and family relatives all angry that England had lost. For now… |
