Well it's been a brilliant week here in Yr1!
We have come to the end of our work in English and have retold the story 'Can't you sleep Little Bear' using fabulous descriptive language.
Maths has been all about place value and we have been using lots of maths equipment to help us understand the value of numbers.
The children have been very keen to try out some really old toys we have borrowed from the resource library and we have looked at the differences between toys they have now and toys their grandparents may have played with.
There is some great artwork around the classroom - all kinds of paper art!
Soon we will be rehearsing our Christmas play so you will be sure to hear some singing at home,
Finally, can we thank everyone who took part in our sponsored skip and jump for Children in Need.
The total raised stands at £1.134 at present.
