A fun game for two players! http://nrich.maths.org/10080
The UK is preparing for a General Election. That means that anyone over the age of 18 can vote for the next government.
The prompt this week has been inspired by this. It is: … X marks the spot… You must have this prompt in your writing, so that means you have 104 words to use. Have a good think before you start writing and try to be really creative in your story. Aim to create a context - who? What? Where? When? Why? How? Remember to include: powerful vocabulary choices; a range of openers; connectives and punctuation for effect. When you have written it, ‘mumble’ read it to yourself to check that it makes sense! Make sure it is interesting and exciting too. Try to avoid repetition. Let your imagination run wild!!!
