This half-term started with a fantastic visit to Hartlepool Maritime Experience, where the children learned what it was like to be an explorer long ago. The week ended with the entire class receiving a special 'Star of the Week' award for 100% attendance! This week, the children spent just three afternoons writing their own lines and rehearsing their class assembly. On Thursday, they enthusiastically presented it to the rest of the school, as well as family and friends - demonstrating that they have most certainly become experts in the field of meerkats! We are very, very proud of them all. Well done!

I was disappointed I couldn't make the class assembly, however by all accounts it was awesome. Well done to everyone in year 2.
