Friday morning was spent creating Tangerine Dream Fruity Cocktails! We had to use the given ratio to ensure they tasted just right. Each juice was carefully measured out and the final 'mocktail' was measured to ensure it had the calculated expected capacity. The children then had to work out the amounts for a 'Taster' for the staff - this was tricky as one of the juices was 6.5ml! They happily shared these with the staff in school - whilst explaining how they created them and the maths they needed to use.

.What an amazing performance from the class today. They have spent every Friday afternoon learning to play the Samba instruments with Mr Stephenson from Tanfield School. Today was finally the day when they had a chance to shine! Their performance was so polished and they showed such confidence when playing the samba beats and singing with Mr Stephenson and acapella! A huge well done. You made us very proud. Year 6 had such a treat when they spent time working with the youngest children in Nursery. They were so helpful when supporting the children whilst they designed their Easter Eggs. A huge well done! After learning about Easter Christian traditions , we decided to try out hot cross buns. Some enjoyed them so much there's little evidence left on their plates!
