The children were brilliant today during the two minute silence for Remembrance Day. The respect shown by all of the children in the hall was superb. The World War I enrichment topic has given the children a real appreciation of the sacrifices made by the soldiers. After the assembly, the children planted their poppies of remembrance on the lawn outside of school. It was very moving.
